About The Pageant

The Miss Coastal Virginia Pageant is “open” meaning anyone from across the Commonwealth of VA can participate; not just local/regional entrants from the Coastal Virginia area alone.  The Miss Coastal Virginia Scholarship Program is an affiliate of the Miss Virginia and Miss America Scholarship Organizations. 

 

The Miss America Organization, with its state and local affiliates, is the number one resource in the world for women to receive educational scholarships.  In 2005, the Miss America Scholarship Organization made available over $45 million dollars to women. It is the financial support of organizations, businesses and individuals … from the smallest companies to the Fortune 500 companies … who make the $45 million dollars in scholarships available nationwide. 

 

The Miss Coastal Virginia Scholarship Program is a non-profit scholarship program whose purpose is awarding scholarships to deserving young women ages 17 to 24 years old and providing a forum for their community service.  The program includes four additional scholarship competitions for Miss Coastal Virginia Outstanding Teen (ages 13-17*), Miss Coastal Virginia Outstanding Preteen (ages 9-12), Little Miss Coastal Virginia (ages 7-9) and Mini Miss Coastal Virginia (ages 5-6).  *non-graduating H.S. Senior
