Become a Contestant - Teen/Preteen/Little/Mini
Miss Coastal Virginia Outstanding Teen, Outstanding Preteen, Little Miss and Mini Miss have been organized to encourage positive achievement by helping to nurture and build the scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement of our commonwealth’s youth. Learn more about how to become a contestant. The Miss Coastal Virginia Outstanding Teen program is a preliminary to Miss America's Outstanding Teen. Contestants participating in the inaugural Teen, Preteen, Little Miss and Mini Miss Coastal Virginia Pageant will:
· Be featured in the opening parade of contestants during the evening of
September 12, 2009
· Represent Coastal Virginia as they advance to Miss Virginia’s Outstanding
Teen and Preteen Pageant in Roanoke in June 2010
· The Little and Mini Miss winners have the option to participate in the Miss
VA Princess Program in June 2010 in Roanoke, VA
This competition is intended to encourage and reward the talent, communication skills, community service, and academic achievement of girls between 4-6, 7-9, 9-12 and 13-17* years of age (*non graduating High School Seniors).
Ultimately, this program is aimed at helping young people develop strong values, leadership skills, social conscience, self worth and conviction about their own potential.
